Meet Kelley

Welcome! I am glad you are here. If you are looking for a therapist who will simply nod, smile, and offer generic advice, we might not be the best fit. I believe that therapy is an active, collaborative journey. It requires a willingness to look honestly at your life, explore uncomfortable truths, and actively participate in your own growth. Whether you are stepping into the room with complete clarity or feeling a bit hesitant about the road ahead, all I ask is that you show up ready and willing to do the work.

My clients often describe me as deeply authentic, direct, and transparent. I don't hide behind clinical jargon or treat you like a diagnosis to be solved. Instead, I bring an open, honest, and compassionate presence to our sessions, ensuring you feel completely heard, understood, and respected from day one.

My Approach:
A Broad View of Your Well-Being

I named my practice Broad View Therapy because I believe healing requires looking far beyond a single symptom or diagnosis. I view your life through a comprehensive biopsychosocial lens, which means we step back to take a broader view of how your physical health, your nervous system, your environment, and your unique history all intersect to impact how you feel today.

Because human beings are dynamic, my approach is highly experiential and holistic. I blend traditional talk therapy with action-oriented tools pulled from my background in Recreational Therapy and specialized trainings, including:

  • The Mind-Body Connection: Utilizing biofeedback, heart rate variability (HRV) training, and somatic awareness to help you regulate your nervous system and manage stress on a physical level.

  • Creative Expression: Incorporating creative and experiential tools to process emotions that words alone sometimes cannot capture.

  • Evidence-Based Trauma Care: Integrating Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help you heal from difficult past experiences safely and effectively.

Healing Within the System

My professional journey includes six years in rigorous Community Mental Health settings and extensive clinical work inside hospital systems. I have walked alongside individuals and families facing some of life’s most profound challenges, including complex trauma, severe medical conditions, cancer, and acute burn injuries.

These experiences taught me a fundamental truth: we do not heal in isolation.

Whether I am working with an individual, a parent, or an adult navigating relationship patterns, I approach our work with a deep understanding of family systems. I look at the entire ecosystem of your life—your family dynamics, your support structures, and your relationships—to help you build lasting, generational change.

I work with individuals and families who are ready to move from contemplation into action. If you are ready to walk your journey with a steady, honest partner by your side, I look forward to meeting you.
