Investment & Insurance

Investing in your mental health is a powerful commitment to your well-being, your relationships, and your future. I believe in complete transparency when it comes to the logistics of your care, so you can plan predictably.

Therapy is a dedicated space where you choose to show up for yourself. The fees and cancellation policies outlined below ensure that our therapeutic relationship is built on mutual respect, clear expectations, and a shared commitment to your long-term well-being.

An Investment In Yourself

Initial Intake Assessment
(60-90 Minutes): $200

(60 Minutes): $160

Payment is due at the time of each session. We securely accept all major credit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) cards, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards through our

Cancellation Policy

Because your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you, I maintain a strict 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy.

If you need to cancel or change your session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be subject to the full fee ($160) charged to your card on file.

Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed or late-canceled sessions, meaning this fee must be paid out-of-pocket. Emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note: Due to state licensing regulations, you must be physically located within the state of
North Carolina at the time of our appointment for all virtual and in-person sessions."

Insurance Update & Priority Waitlist

I am actively in the process of becoming an in-network provider with Aetna, State Health Plan, and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). While my credentialing applications are being finalized, I am fully open and accepting new clients on a private-pay basis.

Want to use your Aetna, State Health Plan, BCBS benefits?

If you would like to work with me specifically through your insurance once my in-network status goes live, please do not wait to reach out. I highly encourage you to schedule a free 30-minute consultation call today.

During our brief call, we will make sure we are a great clinical match. If we feel like a great team, I will place you on my priority list and contact you the exact day my credentialing clears so we can schedule your first session right away.

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If you hold an insurance plan other than BCBS or Aetna, or if you prefer to begin therapy immediately, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement.

Upon request, I can provide you with a monthly document called a Superbill. You can submit this statement directly to your insurance company to seek partial or full reimbursement, depending on your plan's specific out-of-network mental health benefits.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers must give clients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services [cms.gov]. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including psychotherapy [cms.gov]. A personalized written estimate will be provided to you after our initial consultation and prior to your first formal intake session. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
